Welcome to the Functional Capacity Institute. With over 20 years of experience providing orthopedic care within the workers' compensation sector, we understand the needs of the injured worker. Depending on injury type, job demands, and individual needs, our rehabilitation care caters to the individual. Physical therapy is provided at your workplace, home, or office.
In addition to physical therapy outpatient services, we deliver the highest quality and objective functional testing and Functional Capacity Evaluations (FCEs) on the market. Our testing is tailored to the individual and to the profession to calculate the most accurate performance that can translate to long-term outcomes and the ability of our patients to return to work tasks. FCEs are performed at multiple office locations that are convenient to our patients.
FCI is more than a provider of physical therapy and FCEs and serves all parties to improve the safety, function, and longevity of the worker. FCI offers ergonomic assessments, safety training and education, post-offer employment testing, and a dependable job analysis program.
My staff offers years of knowledge and experience. We strive to improve the recovery and outcomes of the injured worker, which will ultimately benefit employers and the workforce.

Our mission is to improve the lives of injured workers by improving the realization that injuries are not a limiting factor to the value of the worker or to his/her professional role in society. Our comprehensive services are designed to enable all workers to achieve their full potential for health and well-being across their lifespan. Our goal is to identify the valid workability of injured workers so that society flourishes. FCI strives to help improve fair and equitable settlements for all parties involved.
